This was collaborative effort by the Africa Centre for Evidence, University of Johannesburg, South Africa and the Africa Centre for Systematic Reviews and Knowledge Translation, Makerere University, Kampala, Uganda. Dr. Laurenz Langer and Dr. Ekwaro Obuku were the co-facilitators. This four day workshop in December introduced 12 AFIDEP staff (African Institute for Development Policy) to evidence synthesis and communication of results in a policy relevant way.
