Since its founding in 2013, the Africa Centre for Systematic Reviews and Knowledge Translation (Africa Centre MakCHS) has made tremendous achievements at Makerere University, Uganda and sub-Saharan Africa. Briefly, Africa Centre MakCHS has trained over 500 evidence generators or users, including students across over 10 countries in sub-Saharan Africa and produced over 50 evidence syntheses. Through this new strategic plan Centre is repositioning itself to meet the dynamic and evolving local and global (‘Glocal’) evidence ecosystem.
